Hair Cutting

If you are looking to book just a haircut, it includes (deep cleansing shampoo, conditioning treatment, scalp massage (if you don't like massage let us know), wet cut (Scissors are mainly for longer cuts, but  a razor may be utilized for texture if it seems the right fit for your hair. A razor is mainly used on pixie cuts to maintain softness and texture), blow dry styling, and dry detail cut to finish.

When I cut hair I assess: face shape, hair texture, and how you plan on styling it day to day. Though a haircut won't change your texture (ie: if it is curly it won't make it straight, and if it is straight, it won't make it curly) it can enhance the texture that is already there, and it should definitely enhance your facial features.

Curly cuts: Hair will likely be cut both wet and dry. First time cut please arrive with hair styled as you normally wear it and dry. This will allow us to clearly assess what you love or hate about your texture and the shape of your previous cut. We will discuss your cleansing and styling routine, products, and health of your scalp and hair. Your first appointment we will make sure you leave with your hair completely dry so we can see the shape created by the haircut. Once you feel confident with the process you are welcome to leave with damp hair if that is what you prefer.

All first time haircut appts (or haircut appts for clients getting major transformation cuts) will be $180 to account for extra consultation time. (If you have a pixie or short haircut already and need less than 1" off please let me know because this price would not apply to you.) Once it is cut off it cannot be replaced, so that is why extra time is added for consultation for new clients. If only we could grow hair out as fast as we cut it off! We will discuss what your goals are, any previous hair challenges, and the best techniques and products to style with.
